Former Hermitage House Smorgasbord Property Acquired

According to The Nashville Post , a major player in the automotive industry, Boing US Holdco Inc., has purchased the property that was once home to the iconic Hermitage House Smorgasbord restaurant in East Davidson County. The $2.9 million transaction was revealed through a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, indicating that Boing US Holdco Inc. shares an address with Driven Brands Inc., a global vehicle service conglomerate with numerous locations worldwide. Driven Brands operates well-known brands such as Meineke, MAACO, and International Car Wash. The property, spanning 1.56 acres at 3131 Lebanon Pike, has a rich history, previously owned by the Mathews family and most recently by Hermitage House Smorgasbord Inc., which recently closed after 48 years of operation. The plans for the property by the new owner remain undisclosed at this time.
