Reports indicate that makeshift homes and RVs are appearing in parking lots and streets, leaving behind trash and waste. Despite efforts to remove squatters from properties, they often reappear in new locations nearby. Concerned residents are calling for immediate action and expressing worries about potential dangers associated with these encampments. The city authorities have yet to respond to the situation, but the Metro Homeless Impact Division emphasized their commitment to offering support and connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with necessary services. The community is determined to find a resolution to this growing problem.

Possible Delay for Music City Star Commuter Rail

I'm sure it will come as no surprise to most, but once again a potential delay might be possible for the Music City Star commuter railway, which has a new station being built in Hermitage. This time it's over the cost of insurance, which is going to cost somewhere between 600k and 700k dollars a year, which is about a quarter of the proposed annual operating budget. That seems a bit steep to me, but I'm no insurance expert. I'm more worried that if they only run three trains in the morning and three in the afternoon is it going to be convienient or flexible enough for anyone to bother using it?
